Our teaching method is three steps; first, introduce students to the history of a conflict by exploring that history through its competing narratives, second, use lesson time for the students to learn exploring sources and third, develop students’ ability to create historical arguments through discussion and debate.
Our videos are designed to be easy to use for teachers and students and are accessible on desktops, laptops, tablets and mobiles. All you need to do is sign-up and login to access our educational resources.
Educational Resources: Scheme of Work structure and content
Each scheme of work is structured by week and within each week there is always (i) an interactive video explaining the history as two competing narratives (ii) a source booklet with at least 20 pieces of evidence of varying difficulty, and (iii) a lesson plan with suggested source-based activities.
