Hugh Castle
Hugh Castle is Director of Education at Parallel Histories. Before joining the charity full time, he taught history for 32 years, including 22 years as Head of Department at Lancaster Royal Grammar School.
He has been involved with Parallel Histories from the outset, helping Michael Davies develop the dual-narrative approach and piloting the early materials in schools. He served for six years as Chair of Trustees and now leads its educational work, developing resources, training teachers and working with schools in the UK and internationally.
